Pokhara's World Peace Stupa hiking tour is an iconic short hike in the Pokhara area. After about two hours of hiking, you'll arrive at the hilltop, where a magnificent white stupa stands.
Our World Peace Stupa hike begins with a rowboat ride across Lake Fewa and an uphill hike through the forests. We hike through chestnut woods before arriving at a resting spot, following the well-paved stone steps up the hill. A lovely view of the lake, Lakeside town, and Himalayan range can be seen. After a few minutes of rest, we continue our ascent to the summit. We arrive at the beautiful stupa atop the hill after about 40 minutes of uphill effort. A panoramic view of the Himalayan Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri Mountain, as well as a spectacular view of the lake and Pokhara valley, leaves us speechless.
We hike down to Davis Falls for about another 40 minutes after spending some time at the stupa, and visit the falls and nearby Gupteshowr cave. We return to Lakeside after visiting the waterfalls and cave, and the journey draws to a close.
The World Peace Stupa Hiking Tour includes:
• A relaxing boat ride across Fewa Lake.
• A breathtakingly beautiful nature hike to the top.
• From the top, there is a breathtaking view of the lake, city, and mountains.
• Bask in the tranquility of the stupa's surroundings.
• At the end of the hike, see a waterfall and a cave.
