Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu.

Your trip starts today when you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, you will be received by our ANA representative at the airport. He'll be carrying an ANA board with your name written on it. Then you will be transferred to the hotel.  After you check into the hotel, our representative will brief you about your trip. Then free till pick up time for the welcome dinner. In your spare time, you can relax, walk around the hotel, go shopping for necessities, and so on.

Day 2
Heritage Tour of Kathmandu.

We take you for a day tour of cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley after breakfast. The tour will give you a mixed insight of history, culture, art, architecture and spirituality of Kathmandu valley. The sites include; Swoyambhunath aka Monkey Temple: The oldest of all sites in Kathmandu valley, Swoyambhunath is an important Buddhist spiritual site having the history over two thousand years old. This site has gained a popular name as monkey temple as this small forested hill is a good habitat for hundreds of monkeys. The visit there will heighten your spiritual and cultural experience. Patan City including Patan Durbar Square: A tour to medieval city of Patan gives you a great insight about ethnic Newari culture, Budhhist spirituality, religious harmony, art and architecture while you stroll around the charismatic alleys taking you to magnificent local community squares known as Bahal and eventually leading you to an incredible medieval palace square. The monuments and skill of the local artisans displayed on those monuments in the square will stun you with their unbelievable charm. Boudhanath Stupa: The largest of its kind in the world, this magnificent stupa is a very important centre of faith for the people following Tibetan Buddhism. This place is nice Circular Square with the stunning stupa in the middle of it which spreads a lot of spiritual vibrations around the atmosphere.

Day 3
Kathmandu – Bahundanda.

Take your breakfast early in the morning and check out the hotel to go to Bahundanda today. A beautiful scenic drive of about seven hours by tourist bus takes you to the starting point of Annapurna Circuit Trekking, Bulbule via Besi Shahar. Take a local bus ride to Bahundanda from Bulbule. Although a long and bumpy drive, the highway brings to you some of the amazing countryside scenario so that you will have a little bit of understanding of how rural Nepal looks like.

Day 4
Bahundanda – Chamje.

Start the trek for the day after your breakfast in the guest house. After trekking for about five hours, you reach a beautiful village of Chamje to stay overnight. The trek in between these two places is a beautiful cultural experience. Once in Chamje, check into a simple tea house.

Day 5
Chamje – Bagarchhap.

About six hours of the trek today will take you to Bagarchhap. After you take breakfast at the tea house, start the trek. Hike towards Bagarchhap on your pace taking in all the beautiful things that you come across the trekking of the day. Check into a tea house and relax.

Day 6
Bagarchhap – Chame.

You are slowly gaining elevation every day you walk to the new destination. Your walk to Chame will start after breakfast today. Five hours of walk today take you the elevation of 2650 meters to the town of Chame, the headquarters of Manang district. Enjoy some spectacular views of the mountain peaks in the Himalayas.

Day 7
Chame – Pisang.

Trek to Pisang for about six hours after breakfast. You are gaining some elevation today as well. Every next overnight staying place will be at a higher elevation gaining height towards Thorong La. Once in Pisang, check into a tea house and enjoy the view of the mountains.

Day 8
Pisang – Manang.

Today you have choice take short and easy route via great valley take 5 hrs to reach Manang or take bit difficult way via upper pisang, Nawal, Ghyawal which take 6 to 7 hrs Walk to Manang.the trail via upper route have great scenery of Annapurna range pisang peak many other mountains and traditional unique village of Manangi people enjoying great views of the Himalayas. A beautiful town of Manang waits for you at the other end while you start the trek of the day from Pisang. Approximately five hours in between Pisang and Manang brings you to some of the spectacular places that make you trip for the day.3540 meter high from sea level. Stay in a tea at Manang.

Day 9
Acclimatize at Manang.

Spend a day acclimatizing in Manang hiking and exploring around Manang, Gangapurna lake continuous 4000 meter up to opposite of rocky and up hills and quickly descend to Manang take around 3 hrs so that you acclimatize with the high altitude environment and your further trekking days become easier than after, be ready for High altitude risk and management briefing by Himalayan rescue health centre in Manang.

Day 10
Trek to Khangsar Village (3735 meter).

Trek to Khangsar Village (3735 mt) after breakfast in Manang descend from old Manang en route via by Chorten, reach to Marshyandi river trail continuous to the northern side of riverbank soon by river bed reached to Khansar. The village and the scenery amazing cultivated field wheat and alluring view of the great barrier open up. Stay overnight at Khangsar 3732 meter.

Day 11
Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (4150 meter).

Today is challenging day due to an adventurous and strenuous hike to Tilicho Basecamp which takes around 7 hrs due to the high elevation continuous ascent around 900 meter and descends 800 meter you reach Tilicho base camp hotel en route top of the of hill full of Buddhist prayer flag and following the serpentine trail to Tilicho base Camp 4650 meter overnight at Tilicho base camp Hotel 4650 meter.

Day 12
Trek to Tilicho Lake to Shree Kharka (4949 meter).

Today you start your hike early morning to catch-up view of the Lake. The trek today takes you around 6 hrs then climbing side of alpine valley moraine and ridge all the way to Shree Kharka overnight at teahouse in Shree Kharka.

Day 13
Trek to Yak Kharka (4020 m).

After breakfast start our hike in great alpine land and superb scenery we are heading to Chauri Lader or Yak Kharka today is gentle walk not very difficult, today’s hike is approximately 5 hrs overnight at Yak Kharka where people come normal route state right from Manang.

Day 14
Yak Kharka – Thorong Phedi.

Today’s walk is about five hours after the breakfast to Thorong Phedi from where the ascension to Thorong La very early morning tomorrow will start. Take enough time to get a good rest so that you get all set for tomorrow.

Day 15
Thorong Phedi – Thorong La – Muktinath.

Start the adventure today very early morning. You are going to achieve the culmination of the trek, Thorong La, today. Crossing the pass over 5400 meters above sea level is certainly an exciting adventure. Ascend the mountain on the trail on a slow pace to only to find the breathtaking Thorong La on the top waiting for you there. After crossing the pass, trek down to Muktinath, a beautiful village in the mountains.

Day 16
Muktinath – Jomsom.

Trek from Muktinath to the charming mountain town of Jomsom. Spend leisurely time exploring the beautiful Jomsom. Your trekking adventure comes to end here so give your legs some rest after these many days of walking in the Himalayas. Enjoy an easy day.

Day 17
Jomsom – Pokhara.

Take an early morning flight to Pokhara. A short flight of about twenty minutes brings you the beautiful lake city, Pokhara. Check into hotel. After spending some quiet days in the mountains, you might be craving for some city civilization. Lakeside town in Pokhara will bring your craving to reality. Enjoy your free day today in Pokhara strolling around lakeside.

Day 18
Pokhara – Kathmandu.

Drive back to Kathmandu after breakfast. Or you have an option to fly back to Kathmandu paying an additional cost for the ticket. Check into the hotel once you arrive at Kathmandu and freshen up. We will go for dinner later in the evening.

Day 19
Departure.

You will be transferred to the airport as per your flight schedule. We will pick you up from the hotel three hours prior to your flight time.

Here’s a complete rundown of what to bring if you’re planning a trek to Everest Base Camp or any other tea-house trek in Nepal.  Proper preparation and equipment for the conditions will go a long way to ensuring you have a great trekking experience.  What follows is a pretty comprehensive list and will make sure you are covered in the coldest months of the year. IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS AND ITEMS

  • Valid passport, 2 extra passport size photos, airline tickets
  • Separate photocopies of passport, visa form (easily obtained at Kathmandu airport), proof of insurance
  • Dollars, pounds or Euros in cash for purchasing Nepalese visa at Kathmandu airport, for paying for restaurants and hotels, for gratuities, snacks, and to purchase your own drinks and gifts
  • Credit cards, Bank/ATM/Cash machine cards for withdrawing funds from cash machines (bring a photocopy of your cards), traveler's checks, etc.
